“Purchasing a property “off the plan” is often a very daunting experience, made even more so when the Developer in question is not known to the prospective Purchaser. Before proceeding to contract I requested the opportunity to meet with the principal of DreamBuild, Mr Steve Macri to discuss my proposed “off the plan” purchase and to clarify some concerns. The Agent arranged a meeting in his office with Steve where I was able to discuss, in detail, all aspects of the “Royal Greens” development. Following our meeting and having all my questions clearly explained I decided to proceed with my “off the plan” purchase of an apartment in “Royal Greens”. A 12 month construction period followed and during this time DreamBuild provided regular monthly detailed building updates by email, including onsite photos of the various construction stages of the building process. DreamBuild invited me to attend regular meetings at their Hornsby office in order for me to discuss in detail and to finalise all aspects of my required “variations” with their expert designer team.
